We all share 2 fears in our lives:
1. Losing what we have
2. Not getting what we want

WHAT PATTERNS?
Each of us has different ‘patterns’ that trigger certain emotions and results. Sometimes that result means we lose something we have or we get something we want.

Often we’re not aware of some of our patterns – they’re so conditioned in us, we don’t ‘see’ them. 55% of what we do is habit.

SHAPING YOUR PATTERNS FOR SUCCESS
1. TAKE A MAGNIFYING GLASS to your habits over different phases of your journey: your childhood; your teens to adulthood; your family life.

2. SPOT what patterns in your life have given you success versus the ones that resulted in disappointment.

3. BE DELIBERATE: keep the great habits; lose the less productive habits; create new habits that support where you want to head. Shift your patterns and consistently apply them.

I’ve done this exercise myself when I was training to be a Breakthrough Life Coach. I realised I needed to break my habit of repeatedly taking on increasingly major change roles, giving it my all and burning myself out. It was also about creating a new habit which focussed on doing what I truly love but not at the expense of myself or my family – hence my departure from the corporate world and the birth of Turas.
